When Philip Jones founded Elite Industrial Services in 2013, he brought more than just business acumen - he brought a lifetime of emergency service, safety & security experience.
As a former EMS Director, Deputy Sheriff, Paramedic, and volunteer firefighter, Philip witnessed firsthand the gaps in industrial emergency response. He saw facilities relying on distant municipal services, compliance-only safety programs, and disconnected vendors who clocked out at 5 PM.
His vision was radical yet simple: What if industrial facilities had their own integrated safety team - professionals who knew every corner of the plant, understood the specific hazards, and were always there? What if these teams were actually a part of the site's organization, but had the benefits and customer service driven mindset of their own company?
Starting with a single site in Iowa, Philip built Elite on the principle that safety, security & fire protection professionals should be teammates, not contractors. This family-oriented approach attracted like-minded professionals who viewed their work as a calling, not just a job.
Today, that vision protects workers across three states, with over 500 certified professionals who live and work in the communities they serve, including Phil's own family that now manages the company.
