EMT-Basic / EMT-Paramedic / CCP
Position Overview
Hiring EMT/Paramedics/CCPs for our Quad Cities operation. Supporting emergency response & transfer services across our Iowa and Illinois service area. Full-time/PRN available
Key Responsibilities
Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls across the Quad Cities region, providing paramedic-level pre-hospital care for both emergency response and transfer services.
Perform thorough patient assessments and initiate ALS interventions appropriate to licensure level. Safely transport patients to appropriate facilities while maintaining continuous care and accurate documentation.
Collaborate with hospital partners, local fire departments, and mutual aid agencies across the Iowa-Illinois border region.
Qualifications
We're hiring EMT-Basics, EMT-Paramedics, and Critical Care Paramedics (CCPs) for full-time and PRN openings across our Davenport, Bettendorf, and greater Quad Cities operation. Pay is competitive and commensurate with licensure level and experience - CCPs and Paramedics with transfer or industrial experience will be compensated accordingly.
Candidates must be physically capable of lifting, carrying, and maneuvering patients and equipment, and must demonstrate strong critical thinking under pressure. Familiarity with Quad Cities geography and traffic patterns across both Iowa and Illinois is a plus.
Certifications & Requirements
- Required High school diploma or GED
- Required Valid Illinois EMS license
- Required Valid Iowa EMS license, NREMT certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Required Current CPR/BLS certification
- Required ALS/PALS certification (as applicable to licensure level)
- Required Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Preferred Critical Care Paramedic (CCP) certification
- Preferred Prior experience in transfer or emergency response services
- Preferred Familiarity with Quad Cities geography and traffic patterns
